Meet the team + how the Fajr Fund works

Nabil, MD, Mustak, and Fasi on vertical integration, Detroit focus, and what investors should expect from reporting.

Who is behind the work? Our "Meet the Team" session introduced the people running day-to-day execution: Nabil as broker-owner steering operations; MD on acquisitions with years of Metro Detroit experience; Mustak leading construction; and Fasi focused on investor experience and growth.

Vertical integration, on purpose

MD sources debt-free opportunities, Mustak renovates (sometimes effectively from scratch), and Nabil's team carries assets through leasing or disposition. Keeping disciplines under one roof reduces handoffs, shortens feedback loops, and preserves accountability when schedules slip.

What investors see

We target disciplined outcomes in single-family and small multifamily across Detroit and nearby submarkets that score well for long-term demand. Reporting is designed to be concrete: quarterly statements and K-1 tax documentation, alongside candid narrative when projects move sideways.

When managers invest alongside LPs, incentives stay pointed in the same direction.

Targets are not guarantees. Read offering documents carefully before investing.
